HOW IS A BIG HPP MACHINE TRANSPORTED?

High Pressure Processing equipment needs to be extremely robust and endurable. This also means that it is quite heavy machinery. Our big installations are also large in size.

Being large and quite heavy, we take very good care in preparing  all our Hiperbaric machines to be transported overseas in perfect conditions. The smaller Hiperbaric units can travel in standard maritime shipment containers, the most usual and common way of transporting goods around the world. Our big machines, instead, travel much better and more comfortably in specially made-for-them wooden boxes.

The trip begins in our factory in Burgos, Spain, where we assemble the wooden crate and prepare the finished, tested and certified HPP machine for the transport.

Once loaded on the truck, we say goodby and farewell! Off it goes to the Port of Bilbao, or the Port of Valencia, or Algeciras…

The machine arrives to Port and is then safely loaded on the maritime shipment cargo vessel.

Once it arrives to destination, it clears customs and it is loaded back onto the truck that will take it to its final destination.

Customers are very much looking forward to the arrival of their brand new equipment and have everything ready for its installation. With a crane, the main body of the machine and its components are downloaded from the crate and containers, and put into the factory where our Hiperbaric Start-up teams, who know everything about this commissioning operation, are ready to bring the machine into final position and assembly it completely.

Once started up, it will work for the years coming, helping our customers to produce healthier, safer, more innovative food products!

Cleanse juice

Cleanses4The “Cleanse” juice category bets on High Pressure Processing (HPP)

“Cleanse” juices are made of vegetables, all natural, whose taste is variable depending on their composition. They can be made of fruits, vegetables, or both of them. The target consumer for those sort of juices are those looking for a premium product, and one of the objetives the manufacturers are looking for is the possibility of making them without additives, and not been heat treated in order to keep all their nutritional properties, vitamins, antioxidants and bioactive compounds.

The main challenge for these all-natural, never heated products is that in general they have a very short shelf-life, so the solution the manufacters have found is using HPP technology.

A Cleanse diet, consists on not eating solid food, the traditional intake, but just only juices and liquids, during a closed period of time. As a consecuence, the digestive system has a less demanding work, shorter digestions, favoring the nutrients intestinal absorption, a bigger liquid intake, giving as a result the organism hidratation and consecuently an improved appearance of the skin.

Also, as an only vegetable diet, the toxins accumulated in the body , ̶ caffeine, fat, and Cleanses-IIrefined sugars ̶  can be eliminated and purged. In general, between 1 and 3 kg of body weight are lost in a 3-day Cleanse Plan.

Diets are made by doctors, nutritionists and food technologists and they cover all the nutritional needs of an adult person. Those diets are variable depending on the “Detox plan” of each brand.

All the information about diets and the “detox plans” is available on our customers’ websites:

The first consumers of these products were the red carpet Hollywood types, and later on these juice programmes became more popular, extending its use among that niche of population   interested in health and nutrition.

These products are now all over the World, mostly USA, Europe and Oceania and the most successful brands all use Hiperbaric technology.

Once again Hiperbaric will be participating in IFFA. For the first time in Frankfurt, Hiperbaric will display the biggest and most productive high pressure processing (HPP) equipment in the world, Hiperbaric 420, in it’s integrated configuration with no external modules or cabinets. The 2013 generation of Hiperbaric 420 is always faster, more reliable, and cheaper to run. With North America still being Hiperbaric’s most important market, now Hiperbaric 420 installations have been completed in meat industries in Europe as well (including Germany).

Further to the Hiperbaric 420 unit, Hiperbaric will be showcasing the most recent developments in automation, peripherals, and customized HPP solutions, adapted not only to the requirements of meat industries but also to other food manufacturing spaces such as foodservice applications, rice production, or fruit juice processing.

Please visit our booth and learn why High Pressure Processing technology from Hiperbaric is increasingly implemented by meat industries worldwide in their search for innovation, food safety and shelf life, access to export markets.

Hiperbaric is the global leading supplier of HPP technology for the meat industry and endeavours to provide the best possible reliability, service&support for this demanding, truly innovative technology. Hiperbaric is presently undertaking an industrial expansion, increasing the capacity of its factory in Burgos, Spain, and growing its subsidiary Hiperbaric USA.
